I used to live in Shabbona, Shabbona is a very small town. everybody knows everybody. there service there is amazing, their ice cream is decicious!
Good place to go when u need something quick and dont feel like traveling far. Prices are higher but thats expected
The building is old and there haven't been noticeable improvements. Also have to watch expiration dates carefully.
Great selection and friendly service at this small grocery store. Fresh produce and meats, well stocked beer selection. Good spot to grab supplies if fishing at the nearby lake. Ice cream! Fried chicken! Sleeping bags and coolers! They have it all.
Maybe they close early on Sundays so they can spend time with their families. Support local businesses or there won't be any.
Only out of desperation. Twice I've bought expired good there; once hot dogs, once Graham crackers. But they sell ice and soda, so there's that.
